Thanks for the comments on the previous P.D. Eastman post, everyone - here's some more of his books for you to enjoy! I don't have much to write about with this post - I'm too tired out from a trip to Legoland with my daughters today! (My 6 year old started her March break from school today - they get a week plus one extra day.)

Sam and the Firefly! LOVE.
ReplyDeleteI know, it's a cute one.
DeleteGotta find those then! How was Legoland? Worth a trip? Have a great Spring Break!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun - but my daughter was building stuff in the Lego pit area and was getting more and more upset whenever she would turn her head for a second and a little kid would accidentally wreck something she was making or grab something she had been using... it was like having 10 little sisters around her all at the same time! In spite of the drama, it was a cool trip though.
DeleteI've never seen Sam and the Firefly!!! Oh I'm so excited to have an Eastman book to be on the lookout for! Hooray! :)
ReplyDeleteOh good, Robyn, it's a fun one!
ReplyDeleteBecause I am fairly vintage myself, I remember these books well! Eastman is a great favourite of mine.
ReplyDeleteHahaha great comment Susan! :)
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! Impossible to read these and not smile:)
ReplyDeleteMy kids like Big Dog Little Dog. Thanks for sharing at The Children's Bookshelf.
ReplyDeleteSam and the Firefly used to be a favourite of mine when I was a kid. Must find a copy to share with my little ones. Thank you for the reminder about this lovely book (also I'm totally jealous of your trip to Legoland!)
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I managed to find a vintage copy of Sam and the Firefly at a recent secondhand book sale? So I now have a copy to share with my kids - Hooray!
