Beautiful words from A.A. Milne's When We Were Very Young (yep, some inspiration for my blog title there) and When We Were Six.  My daughter will be turning 6 soon...can't believe it.  A sweet Golden Shape book of Winnie the Pooh here too.  I'm also including a video of Robin the Frog from the Muppet Show singing 'Halfway Down the Stairs', from When We Were Very Young.

  1. Hello, from my tour of the Kid Lit Blog Hop! The Winnie the Pooh book is adorable. That's not how I picture Tigger at all!

  3. Leanne, I LOVE the concept of your blog! I'm so glad we connected through the Kid Lit Blog Hop - thanks for linking in!

Before my daughter was born, we designed the whole nursery to be Winnie the Pooh themed, so we had Winnie the Pooh crib sheets, valance, decorations, lamp, books, etc... I'm a big fan. These books are so beautiful in their simplicity and sweetness. I agree, what happened to Tigger?! lol

Hope you'll join us again in the next Hops! I'm now following you via email, GFC, and FB Cheers!

  4. Thanks for linking in to the Kid Lit Blog Hop! These are the classics! Pooh is awesome, who doesn't love him? It is funny, when our cocker spaniel is ready to come in from outside, and we're on the porch, she gets all bouncy. So we say, "There's tigger!" Or, "you're getting all tigger-y!" Tigger lives, not only in our puppy dawg, but in us. He's a very memorable character, along with Pooh. Have a bouncy day!
